Position Statement on Services & Action Plan provided by All day Dog Adventures –  Neil & Tracy Day

In light of the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and recently confirmed cases in Montana please find below our Position Statement.  We are fully taking into consideration updated Government advice, this is our Position Statement on behalf of All Day Dog Adventures- Tracy & Neil Day (03/16/2020)

It is a worrying time for everyone and first and foremost we want to ensure that everyone can train in a safe environment.  We will closely monitor the emerging guidance and modify our services accordingly.

It is our wish to ensure that our clients and staff remain safe and do not risk acquiring or passing on the coronavirus.  We will carry out social distancing, good hygiene and please do not pet other dogs.

Here is the specific advice for all our Services (which may change at short notice due to new guidance being released):

Group classes

At this moment in time we will continue to run Group classes.  We ask that all clients maintain a good level of hygiene during the sessions.  We will provide facilities to allow for hand washing and ask that you keep social distance during the classes.  Please leave adequate space between yourself and other handlers and Instructors.  This applies prior to class, during class and leaving classes.

We will not be able to loan out any equipment during this time, such as collars, leashes or water bowls.  Please ensure that you bring everything you need with you.

If you are ill or have been recently ill, been in an infected area, traveled abroad recently or had close contact with someone from an infected area then please follow the government guidance for self-isolation.

Please note that our Monday Puppy Class and Saturday group classes will now take place outside.  Please dress appropriately.  Every class member will be contacted prior to the class if there are any changes to the schedule or location of training.

Private Training and Behavior consultations

We will continue to run our Private training sessions and Behavior consultations.  We have put measures in place to ensure a safe training environment.  Our Instructors will increase hand washing frequency and keep social distances as recommended by the CDC.  Sorry no hand shaking!

If you are ill or have been recently ill, are caring for someone who is ill, been in an infected area, traveled abroad recently or had close contact with someone from an infected area then please follow the government guidance for self-isolation.

Scent workshops

At present we will continue to run our Scent workshops.  We ask that you practice a good level of hygiene and also social distancing during the class. We will have hand washing facilities available.  There will be no sharing of any of the Scent equipment.

Please keep a good distance between you and other members of the class.

If you are ill or have been recently ill, are caring for someone who is ill, been in an infected area, traveled abroad recently or had close contact with someone from an infected area then please follow the government guidance for self-isolation.

Re-scheduling

If you need to cancel a Private Training or Behavior consultation we will re-schedule them for a later date.  If you are unable to attend class or the Government Guidance changes so that we are unable to run classes we will of course re-schedule them for a later date.

On-line/virtual Training Sessions

We are also looking into new ways of running classes including Online/virtual Training Sessions.  if the situation progresses we will make this available to all our clients.

It is vitally important that all clients remain vigilant and thoughtful during this difficult time.  We appreciate your support and hope to continue to provide our services as long as permitted.  We will keep you all updated on any changes.

As a small local business we are vulnerable to big economic losses so we very much appreciate your support.  The welfare of our staff, clients and their dogs is our priority!  Keep healthy!
